I was raised where the rivers run fast and the mountains stand guard — up in Idaho country, where life teaches you to be steady and strong. These days, I call the Texas Hill Country home — that sweet stretch between San Antonio and Austin where limestone bluffs meet wildflowers and the coffee tastes better on the porch.

The Velvet Spur was born from both places — a little mountain grit, a little Hill Country grace, wrapped up in something beautifully real.

Each collection carries small-batch goods that shift with the season — one month it might be hand-poured soap and candles, the next a cozy blend of coffee, tea, or keepsakes for slow mornings. Every piece is chosen for women who live with both tenderness and tenacity — the kind who work hard, love deep, and keep showing up even when life gets dusty.

Every Velvet Spur is wrapped and packed right here in my Texas studio, where the mockingbirds still wake the mornings and the wind carries a bit of cedar and truth.
