Mother’s Day came and went—I ran a storewide sale, and not one thing sold. I got scammed out of $300 (got it back, thank God), and I’ve been running low on both drive and energy. Some days feel like wading through mud with bricks tied to my boots.

But I haven’t quit. And I won’t.

Because I believe people are looking for something more than just a shopping cart. They’re looking for something real. And that’s what I’m building here.

Yes, this is still a shop. I still make things with my hands—bags, keychains, curated gifts. But the truth is, Songbird on the Wire has grown into something deeper:
A place for stories, connection, and community. A place where women (and a few good men) can check in, hear something honest, and be reminded they’re not alone.
