The photo above? That’s a little spot called The Big Eddy, along Highway 55 on the Scenic Payette River near Horseshoe Bend, Idaho.
Let me speak plainly: I love that spot so much, I plan to have someone dump my ashes in that river at that spot someday. You heard me right.
We’ve got family up that way—me and Capt. Ron both—and it’s time to lay eyes on ‘em. We need some loud laughter, hugs that take your breath away, and the kind of chaotic joy only a wild and wonderful family can bring.
But don’t think for one minute that I’m leaving y’all hanging.
